Spoookkkyy Tree in May

Here's a little Halloween wallhanging I've been working on as I drove back and forth to see my dad. I got the binding on it and it's ready for fall! It is designed by Cheri.

I started a little quiltalong called Market Day by Pam Buda. She is giving us the info once a week in two sizes. You can do one, or the other, or both!  This is week one and two. It would be simple to catch up.

If you haven't taken a peek at the 53 little doll quilts that are posted please go see right now. HERE

And if you are on instagram and would like to follow me I put a badge on the right hand side. I try and put different things on my blogs than I put on instagram. Quilting is minimal, it's mostly my life beyond the sewing room.

Have a fantastic day!

  8. Wonderful pieces and it is fun to get a head start for the fall. I need to get my summer pieces finished and then I will start some fall and Christmas so I might be done in time this year.

  12. Cheri's patterns are just fun! Great little Halloween quilt. Love the little stars too. There's just something about making traditional patterns small sized that seems extra special.:)

I plan to do the mini version of Pam's SAL. That probably comes as no surprise.

  18. Cute little Halloween WH! I don't know if it will scare the trick or treaters though. It looks like you are doing both sizes of the Pam Buda QAL. Looks like fun and it's a good idea to do both sizes. We're having a moving sale tomorrow & Sat. It's getting hectic around here!

  21. Thanks for the link to Pam Buda's QAL--I joined in the fun and got caught up in both sizes today. I have a small collection of different size precuts of the Kansas Troubles Quilters fabrics--I think more than half were given to me as gifts. Anyway, I think they will work well for this and it was fun cutting into them finally. It is my first QAL. My first should have been Mountain Trail, I still love that quilt and want to make it. Soon!
